Tutoring
Did you know that tutoring can be the key to academic improvement? Not only can tutoring help you improve your academic performance, it also makes you more likely to stay in school and finish your degree and achieve your academic aspirations. Tutoring is free to eligible students to at Dallas College.
Tutoring is intended to supplement, not replace, class attendance and personal study time. Our tutors will help clarify points from lectures, labs, discussions or assigned readings, act as facilitators for student learning, but will not write papers, do homework or complete other assignments for students.
We offer several options:

Walk-in tutoring sessions are able to accommodate one-on-one, or larger groups and can be for a single course or multiple courses.

In-Person/Face-to-Face/F2F are sessions done at any campus location

Appointments (while not necessary) can be made for either in-person or virtual by using

Virtual Sessions are done using our LMS Blackboard (45-minute appointments)
- There is no walk-in service for virtual sessions. Virtual Sessions are done by appointment only.
