Male Achievement Program

 

The Male Achievement Program (MAP) is an academic success and mentoring program geared towards men of color at Dallas College.

 

The program aims to increase the academic success, leadership abilities, professional skills and financial security of males of color by expanding the sense of belonging, academic confidence, campus engagement, personal identity​ and career aspirations.

This program is one of the reasons I have stayed a student at Dallas College. My program lead has been here for me every step of the way and has kept me motivated to continue achieving my goals. I love the meetings that we have as well. I leave feeling empowered and confident and proud to be a man of color and a person.
