2021 LeCroy Leadership Conference

​​​​​Be engaged and inspired this fall during the LeCroy Leadership Hybrid Conference, featuring nationally recognized leadership development speaker Bobby Audley.

Named after former chancellor and Eastfield College president, Dr. R. Jan LeCroy who was a forward-thinking leader credited for his pioneering work in distance education, the LeCroy Leadership Conference is a leadership training conference geared towards emerging, current, and aspiring leaders. Nationally recognized leadership development speaker Bobby Audley will help you expand your network and make meaningful connections with new people. The afternoon sessions will continue with a focus on connection, positive attitude, confidence, self-motivation, personal awareness, teamwork, communication, and self-care. The conference is open to all Dallas College students with special invites to our Dallas College Foundation Scholars.

Bobby Audley is a nationally recognized leadership and team development trainer and keynote speaker who is able to bring a group in through his warmth, humility and tremendous ability to connect to life. As a trainer and speaker Bobby has worked with colleges and universities across the country, he has worked with some of the best athletic programs in the world, he has given two TEDx talks and he has spoken on stages in 36 states at National Conferences, Fortune 500 companies and to Team USA. Bobby lives just outside Baltimore, Maryland with his wife Danielle and he is the host of the popular podcast, 50 Cups of Coffee with Bobby Audley.

The challenge is for you to get involved and expand your network! Imagine the impact having one conversation each week with someone new would have on your life? Bobby will challenge you to get involved and expand your network!

How To Grow Your Energy Bank Account

Each of us has an energy bank account that we fill and drain throughout our day. In this session, you will learn how to guard against drains that are avoidable (e.g., negative people!), and you will learn to be intentional about filling your energy bank account so you can show up at your best as a leader.

Each of us has a choice about how we will respond to a challenge or a change. In a world of constant change and uncertainty, new responsibilities and sometimes overwhelming demands, it is important to be conscious of the choices you are making about how you show up.

Students from each Dallas College campus will be on hand to discuss their experiences with being involved on campus (clubs, honor societies, Service Learning, Student Government, grant programs, etc.)
