Real Estate Broker, John Rob Real Estate Group

“I work at a full-service brokerage company that provides a large variety of services to its clients. This company specializes in all aspects of real estate, including but not limited to transactions in commercial, residential, property management and investment while facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers or landlord and tenant negotiations."

Dallas College has been a great source for foundational credentials for Josephine Maduagwu. “I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Real Estate at the Richland Campus along with completing the Real Estate certificate requirements. In addition, I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Mortgage Banking and the Mortgage Banking certificate at Dallas College North Lake Campus.

“As a student, being able to have access to professors who were knowledgeable and actually worked in the field was a rewarding experience in many ways. The opportunity to work alongside classmates and/or adjunct faculty was the best part of the Dallas College experience.

“The most important thing I took from my Dallas College education was understanding time management with studies and work needs. Discipline is needed in everything to handle workloads. Dallas College is the 'in between' of high school and university life. Being allowed the opportunity to be in smaller classroom settings and/or having quicker access to instructors for personal learning supported the retention of material.

“The Real Estate program offered by Dallas College allowed the foundation and tools for understanding the business from many aspects. The variety of courses offered provided insight and explanation for the real estate 'professional' dialogue. Being informational and understandable is important when discussing real estate or speaking with potential clients. Dallas College helped in many ways by offering the right courses and additional supporting courses."
