Notice of Public Hearing on Adopting a Budget (2026)
The Board of Trustees of Dallas College will hold a public hearing for the purpose of adopting a budget which will be effective from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027. The meeting will be on the 11th day of August 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the college offices, 1601 Botham Jean Blvd., Dallas, Texas. Any interested party or taxpayer may attend and participate in the public hearing. Of this you will take notice, dated this 4th day of August 2026.
This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year's budget by $32,198,889 or 6.71%, and of that amount, $8,086,700 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
