The Dallas College Pleasant Grove Center (formerly Eastfield College Pleasant Grove Campus) is a student-centered learning community adding value to the lives of students and a community comprising more than 148,000 residents and 3,600 businesses.

Vision & Purpose

To foster a college-going culture in the Pleasant Grove neighborhood by providing quality instruction and programs in academic, technical, occupational and continuing education. The campus features state-of-the-art technology and student-centered classrooms enabling an environment conducive to educational success. The Pleasant Grove Center is designed as a satellite campus connecting the neighborhood to the Eastfield Campus in Mesquite and other Dallas College campuses.

Campus features:

  • 40,000 square feet
  • 10 smart-technology classrooms
  • 4 state-of-the-art computer labs
  • 1 electronically driven library
  • 1 testing/learning center
  • 1 community room equipped with a kitchen – the community room is available to civic and business organizations of the Pleasant Grove community for social and public service events.


  • Workforce training programs
  • Continuing education (CEU) classes
  • ESL and ESOL classes
  • GED training
  • College readiness courses in reading, writing and math
  • Freshman-level credit courses

Pleasant Grove is a branch campus and its accreditation is dependent on the continued accreditation of Dallas College.
