Dallas College Logos

​​​General Guidelines for Logo Use

As of July 1, 2020, no logos other than those provided on this page can be used on any materials.

The Dallas College logos are a very important part of the Dallas College identity. The college and campus logos are available for download below. Schools logos will be available soon.

Guidelines for all logos:

  • The logo can never be stretched or skewed in any way.
  • Do not rotate the logo.
  • Avoid adding any effects, such as a gradient, drop shadow or stroke.
  • Avoid backgrounds that do not allow for a 4.5:1 contrast ratio.
  • Avoid busy backgrounds.
  • The all-white version of the logo may be used only on a black, dark grey or official Dallas College blue background.
  • The all-black version of the logo may only be used on a white background.

  • Never change the color of the logo.

Specific guidelines for each logo version are listed beside that logo.

Any marketing materials, such as fliers, rack cards, po​​sters, etc. must include the Dallas College logo master mark or vertical mark, and must be created by or approved by the Dallas College Marketing & Communications Office.

Examples of Bad Logo Usage

Don't stretch or skew the logo.

Don't rotate the logo.

Don't add effects like drop shadows, gradients or strokes on the logo.

Don't use the logo on a background with poor contrast.

Don't place the logo on a busy background.

Don't change the colors of the logo.

  • This is the primary mark that should be used first, if size allows.

  • When promoting programs, materials should use either the Dallas College master mark or the Schools logo (coming soon) where that program is housed.
  • Campus logos can be used on:
    • campus signage
    • campus social media accounts
    • materials targeted to current students of only one campus
  • Campus logos are not used in advertising, such as TV, radio, billboards, digital ads, etc.

Templates include the Dallas College fonts and colors within the full set of various master slide layouts, so you can easily build your presentation to fit your needs.
