- Oct. 28, 2026: Eastfield Campus
- Nov. 5, 2026: Mountain View Campus
Register For the Session That Works For You
Each Dallas College Preview Day offers two convenient options: a day session from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. or an evening session from 5–7 p.m. Meals will be provided during both sessions.
What to Expect
Join a campus tour to learn the layout and where to find key resources you may need
Academic Program Showcase
- Explore different academic programs and credentials at the Academic Program Showcase:
- Learn about in-person, online and hybrid course and program options to determine which is best for you
- Discover how long it takes to complete certain certifications or degrees
- Explore options for getting into the workforce quickly versus transferring to a four-year college or university
- Check out sample coursework, demonstrations and student work
- Meet with Dallas College faculty, success coaches and program coordinators who can answer your questions about academic programs and provide guidance
Enrollment and Student Success Support
- We can help you start your journey as a Dallas College student with available support:
- Admissions and application assistance
- Verifying transcripts, residency and other documentation
- Paying for college:
- Completing the FAFSA or TASFA
- Dallas College Promise and Parent Promise
- Applying to scholarships

Come Prepared to Start Your Journey at Dallas College
To maximize your Preview Day experience, make sure to bring the following with you:
Photo ID
- Driver’s License
- State-Issued ID
- Passport
- Residency ID
- Consular ID
- High School ID (for high school students who don’t have any other form of ID)
Dallas County Residency Documentation
- Utility Bill
- Electricity
- Water
- Gas
- Rental Lease or Contract
High School and/or College Transcripts
- Order your official high school (or college) transcript through one of these options:
- Parchment
- National Student Clearinghouse
- Order directly from your previous school
- If transcripts must be sent by email, please have them sent to StudentTranscripts@DallasCollege.edu
- If you bring a hard-copy transcript, it must remain in its unopened, school-issued envelope with the seal or stamp intact
Proof of Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination
- Only required if you are younger than 22
- Vaccine record showing your meningitis vaccination
- Note: Meningitis vaccine must have been administered within the past five years
- If you need a vaccine, Dallas College offers them at no cost
- Vaccine record showing your meningitis vaccination
College Placement Scores
- Request high school test scores (TSI, Texas College Bridge, ACT, SAT, TAKS or STAAR) directly from the testing agency to be sent to StudentTranscripts@DallasCollege.edu
- Hard copies will also be accepted.
For Financial Aid Assistance
What to bring so we can help you start the financial aid process:
For the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
- 2024 tax returns
- Records of child support received
- Current balances of cash, savings and checking accounts
- Net worth of investments, businesses and farms
- Your parents’ FSA ID, if they have one and you’re a dependent student
- Your parents’ Social Security numbers, if they have one and you’re a dependent student
For the TASFA (Texas Application for State Financial Aid)
- Student W-2s or IRS form 1099 if self-employed
- Spouse or parent W-2s or IRS form 1099 if self-employed, if applicable
- Student tax returns or tax return transcripts
- Spouse or parent tax returns or tax transcripts, if applicable
- Taxable earnings from a need-based employment (such as Federal Work-Study programs)
- Any untaxed income
- Your bank statements
- Net worth from investments, businesses and farms
- Selective Service registration acknowledgment (if male) at SSS.gov
- Student’s college ID (optional but it is strongly recommended)
