Who is the LMIC?
The Dallas College Labor Market Intelligence Center (LMIC) was established in 2015 to
cultivate a healthy workforce ecosystem in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
The team conducts research revolving around the local labor market, program alignment, and socioeconomic barriers
that impact Dallas College students and the local community. The LMIC collaborates with several internal
partners who also keep students and the community at the forefront of decision-making. Learn more about the
LMIC team,
tools, and
research.
Use the LMIC’s interactive tools to explore labor market characteristics, components
of the Dallas College pipeline, and various demographic breakdowns.
Review some of the team’s latest reports to better understand the current housing
crisis, the state of workforce, Dallas College’s economic impact, and the value of an Associate’s degree.
Custom research and collaboration are available for internal and external partners
and stakeholders.
