Program Coordinator and Faculty

LaToya Payton holds an associate degree in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology from El Centro and a bachelor’s degree in public health from Kaplan University. She began teaching as an adjunct faculty member in the program in 2003 and became program coordinator in Spring 2017.
She is certified as a registered cardiovascular invasive specialist and limited medical radiologic technologist.
She works as a staff technologist at Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital and was hired for that position before graduation after she completed a clinical rotation at Baylor University Medical Center.
