Prefreshman Engineering Program (TexPREP)

TexPREP is an exciting and challenging academic summer program for middle and high school students who are ready to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and math. This innovative program is designed to prepare students for advanced studies through coursework, team projects, class presentations, exams, career speakers, and special events. Students will strengthen critical thinking and problem solving skills while gaining exposure to real STEM careers and college pathways. Please note there will be no classes on July 3 and July 4. Artists & Architects Workshop

In this creative and hands-on camp, students will explore the worlds of art and architecture through fun and interactive activities. Campers will start their mornings with Da Vinci’s Workshop, diving into painting and drawing, followed by an exciting Lego-based architectural building session with Athena’s Architects. After a midday break, they’ll return to Da Vinci’s Workshop for sculpture work, and end the day with a mini art showcase and clean-up. Nursing Summer Camp

This Dallas College Nursing Summer Camp will introduce students, ages 13-17, to the nursing profession. Students will observe and participate in simulated nursing skills and clinical scenarios. Students will hear what it's like to work as an RN from seasoned RNs. Students will hear from nursing students what it's like to be a nursing student. Clinical scenarios may include medical surgical and emergency room nursing scenarios. Simulated nursing skills may include drawing simulated blood, starting an IV on a manikin, applying EKG pads on a manikin and wound care on a manikin. Minecraft Modders

"Customize your own Minecraft world and mod the classic game in this one-of-a-kind class. Learn scripting and logic statements as you create your first mods. Students will create a wide variety of new elements, gameplay mechanics, and world-generating mods to change the way you play Minecraft. Then, go well beyond the limitations of the traditional 2D game design classes and create an immersive 3D world. A.I. Adventures

Explore the world of artificial intelligence to design fully interactive games and experiences using cutting-edge technology. This program combines artificial intelligence with coding to create an unforgettable learning adventure. Students will construct machine learning models that use image and text recognition within block-based coding software to build projects. Then, become an inventor of the future! Learn ‘rapid prototyping’ and problem-solving as you conceptualize and design a product to solve a critical global issue. Camp fees vary depending on the camp:

  • Many camps are free
  • Most are $125 per week
  • If a camp runs for fewer days, the cost will be prorated accordingly

Each camp includes specific age or grade-level requirements, which are listed in the camp description. These guidelines help us create a safe, engaging and age-appropriate experience for all participants.

Please ensure your child meets the listed criteria before registering. If a child is registered for a camp they are not eligible for:

  • Our team will reach out to confirm age details
  • The registration will be withdrawn to make room for an eligible participant

Yes. Lunch or snacks will be provided at each camp, depending on the location and daily schedule. Specific details will be included in the pre-camp email.

If your child is registered for a camp they are not eligible for:

  • Our Summer Camp Team will contact you
  • Your child will be withdrawn from the camp

This helps us ensure every child is placed in a safe and age-appropriate environment.

All schedules, logistics, and drop-off details will be shared by the camp lead overseeing the program. The Dallas College Summer Camp Team will also follow up to ensure you have everything you need before the start of camp.

The following forms must be signed and submitted before your child’s first day of camp:
