The Student Outreach and Recruitment Department at Dallas College is committed to actively engaging the community; raising awareness about the importance of education; and promoting access to higher education among all populations.

Professional staff members participate in events and activities that improve college access rates by connecting prospective students to Dallas College for the higher education and technical training they need to succeed.

College application, Dallas Promise Path Form, and financial aid workshops
Elementary, middle and high school student and/or parent presentations
Decision Days, Student Signing Days, college fairs and career day participation
Community and cultural event tabling
Partnerships with schools, business entities, faith-based groups and nonprofit organizations

Recruitment and enrollment readiness coaches assist new Dallas College students in navigating the application and enrollment readiness process before making a warm hand off to success coaching (advising).

When a new student is admitted, they will receive email correspondence from Dallas College with the name and email address of their assigned recruitment coach.

Recruitment coaches also provide direct support to area high schools as they prepare their students to attend college after graduation.
