Yes, but you must be fully vaccinated by Nov. 15. This means you must either get the single-shot Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine or you must get two shots of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines and obtain proof of your full vaccination. If you get the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, you must plan ahead because you must wait at least 21 days between shots for Pfizer and 28 days between shots for Moderna.

Millions of people in the U.S. have safely received one of the available COVID-19 vaccines. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has information about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines.

Getting vaccinated and participating in the vaccine incentive program is entirely voluntary. However, only students who submit proof of full vaccination will be eligible to receive the monetary incentive.

You can upload your proof of vaccination visiting the Med+Proctor online portal. The portal is available now through Nov. 15.

View instructions on how to upload your documentation.

Contact Med+Proctor directly via the ‘CONTACT US’ button on the Med+Proctor website for upload issues.

Participation in the COVID-19 Vaccine Incentive Initiative is entirely voluntary and based on your personal preference. To process payments of the incentive, participants will need to voluntarily upload their proof of vaccination into the Med+Proctor portal and consent to sharing the information from Med+Proctor to Dallas College to determine eligibility for payment.

Eligible students can collect $200 for being fully vaccinated. For students receiving the vaccine during the period of Aug. 30-Nov. 15, they will receive $100 each for the two-shot Moderna and Pfizer vaccines and $200 for the single shot of the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine.

No, the financial incentive to students will not be taxed nor will it be counted toward students’ financial aid.

If you have lost your COVID-19 vaccination card, the Centers for Disease Control and Texas Department of State Health Services recommend you should first contact the provider who gave you the shot or try contacting your primary care physician.
