The Toughest Two Minutes in Sports Comes to Dallas College!

Join us at Brookhaven Campus for the 2025 Firefighter Challenge World Championship, October 19–25, 2025

Dallas College is thrilled to host the 2025 Firefighter Challenge World Championship at our Brookhaven Campus. This American Ninja Warrior-style course highlights the strength and readiness of our first responder community, showcasing their skills in a dynamic and engaging way. Labeled by ESPN as “the toughest two minutes in sports,” this free family-friendly event brings elite firefighting talent from around the world to the heart of our community. Come cheer on competitors, enjoy live Dallas College entertainment, explore hands-on learning, connect with our programs and show your school spirit!

Event Highlights

  • Free admission for spectators
  • International firefighter competition featuring elite athletes from 20+ countries
  • Interactive booths from Dallas College programs: Fire Protection, Nursing, EMT/EMS, Paralegal and more
  • Fire Protection Technology students will run the official FCWC course
  • Opening Ceremony with live entertainment and educational activities
  • Opportunities for community members to volunteer and engage

We need you! Calling ALL Community Members!

Be part of the action at the 2025 Firefighter Challenge World Championship hosted at Dallas College’s Brookhaven Campus! Volunteers will support event logistics, hospitality and community engagement while gaining valuable experience alongside public safety professionals and college staff. All volunteers will receive complimentary T-shirts and refreshments as a thank-you for their time and energy.

1-3 p.m.: Fire Protection Technology students run the official Firefighter Challenge World Championship competition course.

7 a.m.-7 p.m. - Qualifying Rounds

Brookhaven Campus - Serviced by Route 227 and GoLink Farmers Branch. Route 227 provides connections to Farmers Branch Station, Las Colinas, downtown Irving and Addison Transit Center. GoLink Farmers Branch Zone provides on-demand, curb-to-curb service to nearly the entire city of Farmers Branch, which includes connections to Farmers Branch Station and Addison Transit Center.

    Yes—career, volunteer, retired, cadets and students in fire science programs.
