PTSD Awareness
This month focuses on educating students and employees about the causes, symptoms, and treatments of PTSD, which can result from experiencing or witnessing traumatic events such as combat, abuse, accidents, or natural disasters. We will bring in a guest speaker to highlight the importance of seeking professional help, supporting loved ones with PTSD, and building communities that foster understanding and compassion for mental health challenges.

First-Gen and Forward is a student success and wellness series that supports first-generation students as they navigate college, family expectations, stress, belonging, and academic responsibilities. Students will learn practical tools for managing wellness, using campus resources, building support, and staying connected to their goals.

Procrastination Annihilation
Procrastination can be frustrating. In this workshop, participants will learn to identify what tasks or goals they procrastinate on; recognize the signs and consequences of procrastination (e.g., missed deadlines, last-minute rushes, feeling guilty); understand the underlying causes, such as fear of failure, unrealistic expectations, self-assumptions and even past trauma; learn practical techniques to break the procrastination cycle and take action.
