The Dallas College Entrepreneurship Program, in collaboration with the Mesquite Public Library, presents the “Startup to Success” workshop series.

Topics will include:

• Session 1, Oct. 7, 2026 — Is a Business Right for Me? Learn How To Find Your Why
  
• Session 2, Nov. 4, 2026 — Find Your Offer and Get Legit (What to sell, who's the customer, tips for market research and steps to make it all official)
• Session 3, Dec. 2, 2026 — Plan on a Page (Create a simple one-page game plan for your business — no jargon. Leave with a clear next step.)
• Session 4, Feb. 3, 2027 — Map Your Direction (Mission, Vision, Strategy and SMART Goals — made practical so you can use them the next day)
• Session 5, March 3, 2027 — From Idea to Business Plan (Turn your one-page plan into a usable business plan that helps you launch and grow)
• Session 6, April 7, 2027 — Human Resources for Startups (Managing everyday workplace relationships, standard employment practices, core compliance, W2 vs. 1099 classification and building a positive culture that keeps your first hires aligned)
