This year’s event features, for the first time, the artistry of The Dallas Puppet Theater. Owner, director, and master puppeteer Pix Smith will present his renowned marionettes in a performance designed for the entire family.

Event Highlights

  • Magic Camp (Ages 9–12): 4:30–5:45 p.m., Room W126
    Led by Texas Magic Camp owners Dal and Cinde Sanders.
  • Card College (Ages 13 and up): 4:30–5:45 p.m., Room W122
    Featuring George Ferrin, 2026 Dallas Magic Club president. Card decks provided.
  • Close-Up Magic: 6:00–6:45 p.m., Tree Top Lounge (West Building, west entrance)
    Performances by past Magic Club presidents Elena Ponsler and Yari Zetino.
  • MVC Welcome and Photos with Mascots: 6:45–7:00 p.m.

Main Attractions 

  • The Dallas Puppet Theater: 7:00–7:30 p.m.
  • Summer Fun Family Magic Show: 7:30–8:15 p.m.
    Featuring Doctor Mike Smith and Doc Grimes, MVC Magic Club sponsor.

The evening will also include the return of the popular “Float-the-Kid” photo opportunity, along with complimentary popcorn and cotton candy.

Attendees may participate in prize drawings featuring a variety of items, including plush toys, bubbles, crystal magic wands, magic books, and three $50 gasoline debit cards (generously provided by an anonymous third-party sponsor).
