Finding Joy in Life's Transitions

Join us for the 6th annual Veterans Mental Health Summit and Resource Fair on Sept. 19, 2024.

WHAT: Presentations and discussion groups will focus on cultivating satisfaction and contentment as well as ways to build connections and thrive in life after the military. The opening keynote will feature guest speaker COL (Ret.) Lawrence Henry, Ph.D., CBCP.

WHO: Veterans, veteran supporters, students, employees and mental health practitioners are encouraged to attend. The summit is a collaborative education and outreach initiative between Dallas College’s offices of Military Connected Services (MCS) and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), in connection with the VA North Texas Healthcare System and several local veteran service organizations.

WHERE: Live stream to watch from anywhere, or attend in person at Richland Campus. The college is also providing Dallas College students with transportation to Richland Campus (from the college’s other six campuses) if you need it.
