This Academic Progression Pathway AAS-BSN Program Track (Level 3) is for students who have been accepted into the Associate Degree Nursing Program (AAS) and wish to begin Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) coursework while completing their AAS degree through a concurrent enrollment model. To apply for this Academic Progression Pathway, Students must have completed all prerequisites and be Core Complete for this Concurrent Pathway.

The Academic Progression Pathway AAS-BSN Program Track (Level 3) prepares graduates to be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN Examination to become licensed as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in Texas. BSN courses are taken concurrently with the AAS program and are designed to strengthen the knowledge and application gained in the AAS curriculum. Upon successful completion of the AAS degree, licensure requirements, and clinical partner requirements, students may continue toward completion of the BSN degree with minimal additional coursework.
