Dallas College Foundation offers over 400 scholarship opportunities annually to Dallas College students. Scholarship awards are based on academic excellence, achievement, leadership, goals and/or other factors.

Apply by June 1, 2025, for Fall 2025, Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 scholarships.

 

How To Apply

Applying is easy:

  • Complete one general application and get matched to all of the scholarships for which you qualify.
  • After completing the general application, a list of “Recommended” scholarship opportunities will be displayed.
  • Read the details for each match, click on the “Apply” button if you meet the requirements and answer the additional questions.

No, due to Promise and Rising Star scholarships covering all tuition (books included).

Some scholarships awarded through this competitive application process require the recipient to show financial need as determined by the annual Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All newly admitted and continuing Dallas College students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA, regardless of family income. There is no application fee, and the eligibility information received from the application will assist with budgeting for education-related expenses.

Complete the FAFSA online at FAFSA.gov.

You can log in to the myScholarships portal after the deadline and check the status of your application. If you are offered a scholarship, you will receive an email notifying you of your award two to three weeks after the deadline date with instructions on how to accept the award.
