Who can submit a TASFA application?
The Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) is available to eligible students who can lawfully reside in the United States and are classified as Texas residents by an institution of higher education. To qualify, students must be eligible for in-state tuition rates (Note: Tuition waivers do not meet this requirement). The TASFA should not be completed by a student who is eligible to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
For residency-related questions, please contact the Dallas College Admissions Office at Admissions@DallasCollege.edu or visit the Residency Requirements page for additional details.
Please note that international students are not eligible for state or federal financial aid programs.
