Financial Aid Awarding Process
Effective Monday, Oct. 5, we will have new student services hours for students seeking assistance through the contact center, virtual chat, or visiting a campus. View the New Hours.
Your eligibility for a financial aid award can be determined:
- After we receive the results of your FAFSA data, and
- After you have been admitted to Dallas College, and
- After you have submitted any additional documents requested to the Financial Aid Office.
If awarded, the specific package will be determined by your need, as defined by the FAFSA data you submitted, and the financial aid funds available at Dallas College.
Most financial aid programs have limited funds, so it is important to apply and submit required documents as early as possible. Limited funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
You will be notified by email when you have an award. You may also view posted financial aid awards, account summaries and other helpful personal information in Workday, our secure online services (requires login).
