Child Care Resources

​​​Raising kids while you’re trying to get an education can feel like an uphill climb. But even if you’re a single parent, you’re not alone.

Dallas College can connect you with child care resources to give you the support you need while you reach for your dreams. Check out these options:

Working Wonders

Are you pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree or certificate? If so, you may qualify for the Working Wonders program. Eligible students can get help in the form of a limited child care subsidy​, textbook loans and other services.

ChildCareGroup Eastfield Center

The ChildCareGroup runs an Early Head Start and Head Start Childhood Center on the Eastfield Campus. Dallas College students who meet the income eligibility requirements can receive services free of charge (as space permits). Services for children from 6 months to 5 years old include education and day care, family services for children with special needs, extended care for working parents and more.

Community Resources

Additional child care resources may be found through My Community Services or 211 Texas.
