The Placement Testing Centers located on each campus provide assessment testing to new and current students.

Placement Testing Center Rules

The Following rules ensure academic integrity and test security. All rules apply to all Dallas College placement testing center locations.

• No headwear or sunglasses are permitted in the testing labs. Exceptions will be made for religious headcoverings. 
• No food or drinks of any kind are allowed in the testing labs. This includes water. 
• No electronic devices, smartglasses, earphones or watches of any kind are permitted in the testing labs. There are exceptions for medical devices approved through the Accessibility Services Office. 
• Hoodies and jackets are not permitted in the testing labs. Please dress appropriately if you are concerned that you may be cold in the lab. 

Temporary lockers are available for the storage and security of your possessions during your testing session.

• Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Saturday-Sunday: Closed

Hours of Assessment

• Monday-Thursday: 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
  • The last TSIA2 exam is administered at 3:30 p.m.
  • The last ESOL/ESL exam is administered at 3:30 p.m.*
  • The Last ESL (non-credit only) exam is administered at 5 p.m. (on Wednesdays only).*
• Friday: 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • The last TSIA2 exam is administered at 1:30 p.m.
  • The last ESL (non-credit only) exam is administered at 3:30 p.m.*
• Saturday-Sunday: Closed

*For ESL/ESOL testing, a referral form from a success coach is required, and you need to arrive 30 minutes before the exam start time listed on the referral form from the success coach
