Student Government

The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the voice of the student body.

SGA is also a model of government and source of leadership development. SGA members learn to run for office, help make decisions about your campus, and share the needs and concerns of fellow students with campus and college leadership.

If you join SGA, besides having a role in decision-making, you’ll make friends, meet with college administrators at campus forums, and network with community leaders and fellow college students nationwide.

Your campus Student Life Office has information about how to join student government. They can tell you about the events SGA sponsors and what SGA can do for you.

For more information about student government, visit the Texas Junior College Student Government Association website or our portal for current Dallas College students (login required).
