The Dallas College Service-Learning program offers opportunities for students to engage in areas such as environmental care, health, social services and virtual projects, while connecting these meaningful experiences with classroom learning.
Service-learning connects what students learn in class to hands-on experiences, helping them build leadership skills while working alongside community-based professionals. Service-learning also develops important 21st-century skills (four Cs): creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication.
