Student Experience: Bryan Abercrombie

The Dallas College Real Estate program taught Bryan Abercrombie “how to become a professional realtor, providing strong instruction, knowledgeable staff, real-life exposure and mentoring, during and after."

“My courses enabled me to assist clients in a multitude of home-buying situations," he said. “I was prepared for the uncertainties not reflected in course content but addressed within my coursework with the instructors at Dallas College North Lake Campus."

Today, Bryan is a licensed real estate broker and agent, as well as a certified residential underwriter. Guided by his knowledge of laws and principles stressed in his coursework, Bryan's various career responsibilities include showing homes to clients, negotiating contracts and conducting comparative market analysis.

Bryan earned his Associate of Arts and Sciences from Dallas College North Lake Campus in Mortgage Lending and Financial Services.
