Workday

Workday is Dallas College’s new records and registration system for credit students starting Fall 2025!

What’s Changing

Beginning with Fall 2025 registration, credit students and applicants will use Workday instead of eConnect to:

  • Complete admissions steps if you are a Fall 2025 applicant
  • Manage your student account
  • Register for classes
  • Check financial aid status and tuition costs
  • Change your program of study
  • And more

What You Need to Know

  • Fall 2025 credit course registration will happen in Workday.
  • Most Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 student tasks (including registering for classes) will remain in eConnect/Self-Service.
  • To update your student information (like your address, emergency contact or personal details), please do so in Workday.
  • If you are registering for both Summer 2025 and Fall 2025, you will need to register for courses for Summer 2025 in eConnect and for Fall 2025 in Workday.
  • Continuing Education student records and registration will remain in eConnect.

Why are we making this change?

Workday is a cloud-based software system and a huge leap forward in technology for Dallas College. It features a user-friendly design and will improve your experience when you access your student records and register for classes.

What’s Next

Current students and new applicants will receive an email on April 1 inviting you to set up your Workday account.

  • Current students: Check your Dallas College email
  • Applicants: Check the personal email provided when you applied

Fall 2025 registration will open:

  • For students enrolled in Spring 2025 or the past year - Tuesday, April 1, 8 a.m.
  • For new credit students - Monday, April 7, 8 a.m.

Due to the high volume of students registering for Fall 2025, you may not be able to register until a certain timeslot. On April 1, please check your Dashboard in Workday for your specific registration time.

Upon registration students will have a 30-day window to make a payment arrangement (apply for financial aid, get on a payment plan or pay) or they will be dropped from their course.
