The Skills Development fund program at the Dallas College Garland Center (formerly Richland College Garland Campus) provides customized job training programs for businesses who want to train new workers or upgrade the skills of their existing workforce.

Skills Development Fund Partnership - Richland, Texas Workforce Commission, Business Partners in the community 

The Skills Development Fund Grant is a partnership among the Dallas College Garland Center, the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and our business partners in the community.

TWC pays for the training through the Skills Development Fund, the Garland Center administers the grant and provides the customized training programs, and local businesses create new jobs and improve the skills of their current workforce.
