Dr. Johnetta Banks, campus Title IX coordinator, Dallas College North Lake Campus (and author of “Becoming Her Again: The Journey Back to You”) and Dallas College student Danyeil Townzen will share their personal stories of enduring and surviving domestic violence.
This event is part of Dallas College's 2025 Domestic Violence Awareness Month (#DVAM25) programming.
Note: This presentation will detail extreme (and sometimes graphic) depictions of violence. If this may be triggering for you, please reach out to your support network, as needed, or engage with Dallas College counselors, CARE Team or Title IX Office to receive direct support or referrals to support resources.
