The Dallas College School of Creative Arts, Entertainment and Design in partnership with Plaza of the Americas presents a solo display of photography by North Lake Campus student Maria Herrera.

Maria Herrera is a Mexico-born photographer and student of Dallas College North Lake. She recently won Dallas College’s Fordham Visual Arts Award. Of her work she says, “Behind every object we use is the effort, skill, and dedication of workers whose contributions often go unnoticed...The main conflict is between the invisibility of skilled labor and the appreciation of the human effort behind everyday materials.”

Exhibit runs: July 28 – Sept. 30, 2025

Location: Plaza of the Americas, 2nd floor Mezzanine, 600 N. Pearl Street, Dallas
