Where Words Once Were is a dystopian coming-of-age play by Finegan Kruckemeyer focusing on a young boy, Orhan, who lives in a society with a strictly limited, 1,000-word vocabulary. When individuals use unapproved words, they face harsh penalties, prompting Orhan to defy these rules and discover the power of language and self-expression. Family-friendly, for second graders to senior citizens. Admission is free and open to all.
