Women+ on the Edge of Democracy is an interdisciplinary staged-reading event bringing students, faculty, and staff together through theatre, listening, and conversation. Featuring a selection of short plays and monologues from the nationwide Women+ on the Edge of Democracy project, the event explores questions surrounding democracy, civic life, history, community, and our shared future. The readings will be followed by an opportunity for reflection and conversation across different perspectives. This is a nonpartisan, educational event presented by NLC Theatre in collaboration with members of the campus community. Admission is free.
