AS+K Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training
Did you know suicide is a leading cause of death across multiple age groups, and is the second leading cause of death for ages 20-34? We'll discuss risk factors, protective factors, and warning signs related to suicide and how to connect to care if you think someone may be struggling. Participants will learn about on-campus and community resources for mental health and well-being.

Donations of new or gently used handbags, diaper bags and totes will be collected March 23-April 24 throughout all campuses and given to the Texas Advocacy Project for distribution in women's shelters across North Texas.

Flux Capacitors On!, Going Back to the Future-Navigating through changes in life from student to graduate!
Students will journey through their process of selecting their area and study and their plans to incorporate their knowledge after graduation. Students will be introduced to the concept of self-advocacy to express their needs and make informed choices. Students will be introduced to social skills such as effective communication, conflict resolution and building healthy relationships.
