Join CAPS for a mindful moment of meditation on a Monday. CAPS counselor Aubrey Webster will provide 1hr of guided mindfulness meditation.  Workshop will begin with short explanation of mindfulness and end with questions and short discussion.  Join in person or virtually.  Drop in when you can, can come late and leave early if needed.  

Location:  Northlake Campus Room H226 and Online 

This event is hosted by Dallas College Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). CAPS provides free mental health counseling services to Dallas College students. Stress Shake-Off: Welcome Week Dance Break : Wednesday, Sept. 16 - noon - 1 p.m.

This active wellness session uses line dancing to introduce movement-based stress reduction. Students complete a brief embodied check-in before and after the activity to build awareness of how physical movement affects mental and emotional well-being.
