Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis. Just like certification for CPR or first aid, MHFA allows participants to receive a certification in Mental Health First Aid training.

This psychoeducational workshop explores how creative expression — through art, music, journaling, and movement — supports emotional processing and mental health. Participants discover how everyday creative practices serve as accessible coping tools, with no artistic skill or background required.

Students will learn/review and practice using quantitative reasoning skills focusing on topic of logic in Math 1332 classroom.

Hannah Hill, a women and children therapist at Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support, will discuss recurring patterns of interpersonal and domestic violence. Learn to recognize the dynamics and impact of abuse.
