Dallas College Basketball Makes a Big Run at Nationals

Earlier this month, four Dallas College basketball teams participated in NJCAA Division III national tournaments. It was the first national tournament in program history for the Richland Women’s basketball team. In another milestone, Dallas College sent three men’s teams to the national tournament this year.

The Richland women’s basketball team traveled to Brownwood, Texas, where they fell to Jefferson Community College. Read about that game here.

Richland, North Lake, and Eastfield men’s teams travelled to Herkimer, New York for the national tournament. Richland finished as national runner-up, falling to Northern Essex Community College in the championship game on March 14. Read more about their tournament journey here.

While none of the teams returned home with a national championship, their presence on the national stage reflects the strength of Dallas College basketball. These teams represented Dallas College with pride, determination and resilience, capping memorable seasons and building momentum for the year ahead.
