The $100,000 grant to Dallas College Foundation awards seed money for a pilot program providing free child care for Dallas College students.

The college will hold a recruitment event, an awards luncheon and a signing ceremony aimed at recognizing apprenticeships as critical pathways to good-paying jobs.

A resource fair at Mountain View Campus Nov. 16 will highlight services available at Dallas College and elsewhere to assist veterans and their families.
