Seniors at Dallas County Promise high schools may be eligible to earn a certificate, associate degree or bachelor’s degree at no cost!

The Dallas College Promise scholarship program covers any gap between state and federal aid to make sure your tuition is fully covered. Family income limits may apply.

Choose from 100+ degree or certificate programs. Promise benefits may transfer to four-year university partners.

New Students: Eligibility and How to Apply

Class of 2025 seniors must attend a Promise high school to be eligible for the program. Students starting Fall 2025 must have a household income below $75,000.

• Submit the Path Form by Feb. 5, 2025

  Complete the Promise Path Form by Feb. 5, 2025. You’ll receive a confirmation with your Promise ID. *Completing the Promise Path does not obligate a student to participate in this program.

• Apply for Admission by July 1, 2025

  Submit the Dallas College Admissions Application.

• Apply for Financial Aid by July 1, 2025

  Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at FAFSA.gov or Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) and list Dallas College as a recipient of your application. (School code: 004453)

• Enroll by Aug. 20, 2025

  Complete Dallas College class registration for the Fall semester.
