Dallas College Promise Information for Parents

What to know about your child’s opportunity for tuition-free college!

The Dallas Promise scholarship covers the cost of tuition at Dallas College for up to three years or the completion of an associate degree (whichever comes first). High school graduates awarded an associate’s degree must pursue a bachelor’s degree at Dallas College to remain eligible for Dallas Promise. Tuition is paid for up to five years or degree completion for students who seek a bachelor’s degree at Dallas College.

Dallas Promise is a last-dollar scholarship. Scholars must be Pell/TEOG/TPEG eligible. It covers the gap between what classes cost and what Pell/TEOG/TPEG grants and other federal and state grants cover.

You can be a Promise scholar, too!

Parents and guardians of Promise eligible high school seniors can enroll at Dallas College with the Parent Promise scholarship.

Parent Promise offers benefits similar to what your child receives, including the last-dollar scholarship and access to college support services.
