Meet the Student Care Coordinators

The Student Care Network at Dallas College is the central and first point of contact for any student who may have a personal, emotional, medical and/or other concern.

All care is organized by our Student Care coordinators.

A Student Care coordinator will individually assess your needs and connect you to resources within Dallas College’s Student Care Network and the greater Dallas community.

Because a successful plan may include multiple resources, Student Care coordinators can help make sure your needs are met. We provide supportive follow-up meetings with you to evaluate successes, problems and/or gaps in support. It’s important to note that care coordination is not counseling or therapy. Rather, Student Care coordinators can develop close, helping relationships with you while coaching you toward appropriate resources, self-care and self-advocacy.
