If you or someone you know would like to speak by phone or text with a trained urgent care professional, there are nationwide services available:
- Text HOME to the Crisis Text Line at 741741 to communicate with a trained crisis counselor from anywhere in the United States at any time about any type of crisis.
- The Steve Fund promotes text messaging to improve access to crisis counseling for young people, or those from underserved or under-resourced communities. Text STEVE to 741741 anytime to talk with a trained crisis counselor.
- Call the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988.

Make an Appointment
Dallas College's professional counselors are currently offering virtual and in person appointments. You can make an appointment online, by email at Counseling@DallasCollege.edu, or by calling 972-860-HELP(4357) and asking to speak with a counselor.
Joining Virtual Appointments
If you schedule a virtual appointment, a member of Counseling and Psychological Services will email you a calendar invitation with the time and date for your session. At the time of your appointment, please click on the link in the calendar invite to join through video or call the number provided to speak with the counselor by phone at the scheduled time.
