Join CAPS for a mindful moment of meditation on a Monday. CAPS counselor Aubrey Webster will provide 1hr of guided mindfulness meditation. Workshop will begin with short explanation of mindfulness and end with questions and short discussion. Join in person or virtually. Drop in when you can, can come late and leave early if needed. |

World Suicide Prevention Day : Thursday, Sept. 10 - 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Marked on September 10 each year, the purpose of WSPD is to raise awareness, challenge the stigma and encourage open conversations to prevent suicides. Changing the narrative of suicide means shifting to a culture of openness, understanding and support. Counselors will walk around and visit departments on campus to promote awareness.

Improv Communication Group : Monday, Sept. 14 - 11 a.m. - noon
Improve games will be used to increase communication skills, while developing confidence towards social interactions. Students will explore common social challenges by working through improv scenes based on common scenarios.
