Join us monthly for a virtual Student Parent Connection group aimed at creating a positive space to process stressors, build connections, and empower parents to achieve their educational dreams.

Location:  Eastfield Campus - Virtual 

This event is hosted by Dallas College Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). CAPS provides free mental health counseling services to Dallas College students. World Suicide Prevention Day : Thursday, Sept. 10 - 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Marked on September 10 each year, the purpose of WSPD is to raise awareness, challenge the stigma and encourage open conversations to prevent suicides. Changing the narrative of suicide means shifting to a culture of openness, understanding and support. Counselors will walk around and visit departments on campus to promote awareness.
