| Did you know suicide is a leading cause of death across multiple age groups, and is the second leading cause of death for ages 20-34? We'll discuss risk factors, protective factors, and warning signs related to suicide and how to connect to care if you think someone may be struggling. Participants will learn about on-campus and community resources for mental health and well-being. |

This event is hosted by Dallas College Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). CAPS provides free mental health counseling services to Dallas College students. Get Your Steps In : Thursday, Aug. 20 - 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Attendees will walk the track on campus and identify the benefits of walking each day. The track takes about a half hour to complete.

RLC CAPS welcome tables to promote CAPS services and to assist students as needed.

Meet The Counselors Tabling Event : Friday, Aug. 28 - 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
NLC CAPS staff will have a table with counseling info, greeting students and offering beverages and providing outreach.
