Tools to Thrive workshop series provides practical skills and strategies to enhance productivity and well-being. Positive Thinking: Explore how positive thinking can enhance well-being, resilience and promote a growth mindset.

How to Communicate with Your Professor Without Fear : Wednesday, April 08

This class will normalize the accessibility of professors and provide practical strategies for initiating and maintaining communication with professors. Students will also be provided with information on recognizing and addressing their concerns of fear of judgement, fear of rejection, and fear of looking foolish when speaking with their professors which may keep them from communicating effectively and getting what they need out of their classroom experience.

AS+K Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training : Friday, April 10

Did you know suicide is a leading cause of death across multiple age groups, and is the second leading cause of death for ages 20-34?  We'll discuss risk factors, protective factors, and warning signs related to suicide and how to connect to care if you think someone may be struggling. Participants will learn about on-campus and community resources for mental health and well-being.
