Since 1965, Dallas College has been a catalyst for opportunity—educating over 3.3 million students, transforming communities and fueling regional progress.

From a single vision to a multi-campus institution, our journey has mirrored the evolution of North Texas – rising to meet the needs of every learner, every decade.

Today, we empower learners with real-world skills, supportive pathways and a foundation for success in high-demand careers – from health care to AI and beyond.

And tomorrow? We’re building a 22nd Century College—future-focused, radically accessible and bold enough to lead what’s next.

Together, we’ve shaped a legacy of bold innovation. Now, we shift gears again – toward a future only Dallas College can imagine.

For 60 years, Dallas College has helped students, families and communities take their first steps toward opportunity. Today, we’re building on that legacy and reimagining what’s next in education to meet the moment and shape bold new pathways to a stronger, more inclusive Dallas County.

“To me, it was what I could afford, just because you’re paying less doesn’t mean you’re getting less education. But, if I can get an education for less and still advance, it’s a no-brainer. I went on to UNT, then I still went on to graduate at SMU, but none of that education from Dallas College was disqualified. The credits counted 100%.” Read Iris Diaz's story.
